This is the true story of three pageant queens picked to live in a house … and be mentored by former Miss USA Tara Conner. MTV's "Pageant Place," premiering Oct. 11, sets up Rachel Smith, Riyo Mori and Katie Blair with Conner, far right, the 2006 Miss USA who was almost dethroned after revelations of her underage drinking. According to MTV, Conner will act as an "unofficial peer adviser" for the girls, teaching them how to transition from the pageant world to the real world — or at least, the reality TV world.
