EMMY NOMINATED for

"Outstanding Main Title Sequence"

FOX Television and Craig Silverstein selected Shine, the Hollywood design agency, to conceptualize, design, and produce the main title sequence for STANDOFF, the new one-hour drama now in its first season on FOX, starring Ron Livingston. The dimensional environments in the sequence were designed to introduce the characters of the show and to set up the story of the FBI crisis negotiators. The graphic world of the sequence was designed and animated using 2D and 3D tools. Shine shot the cast against green screen and integrated them into the digital backgrounds creating a dramatic, cinematic sequence. The concept, created by Shine, was designed to fulfill the producers desire to communicate to their audience the complex relationships between the FBI negotiators and the hostage takers, as well as relationships between the main characters.

Standoff / Main Titles

I was very fortunate to be able to jump right into Standoff from the QWEST campaign.  For the Standoff main titles I worked in conjunction with the animator Dan Meehan.  My recent editorial work on the main titles for Blade: The Series have aided my proficiency in working closely with animation and incorporating graphics into a project workflow.  The hard work put into the Standoff title has earned us a nomination for last year's Emmy in Outstanding Main Title Design.
